J.P. Morgan purchases 25 major newspapers in 1917 to influence media dissemination. The Council on Foreign Relations is founded soon thereafter by Morgan and friends including John D. Rockefeller and continues its media infiltration through the remainder of the century. They admit such power in Tragedy and Hope authored by Carroll Quigley from their own records.
